I haven't said at all that I don't talk with them, that my friends are clueless, that we don't have these discussions, etc. All I'm saying is that Newsvine is a great place to discuss current events with more educated people because the people involved are usually people that care more.

  • That might actually be a arguably good reason for the security needed at the event. Drugs can lead to misbehavior, carelessness, and hence the possiblity of forest fires or other injury. It doesn't seem like the officials are affecting the event that much.

  • I love my social life, it's just that in many cases, 16 year olds don't seem to care. :P A lot of the 16 year olds I know don't even know what the war in Iraq is all about. :(
